We cordially invite you to join us for an exclusive initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), supporting a multi-year Japanese-German joint-project for the sustainable development of business activities between Japan and Germany in the field of lightweighting technologies.

As a first milestone, a delegation of 11 selected German companies specializing in innovative lightweight materials, production and process technologies for composites, components and related technologies for different application fields like the composite industries and research, aerospace, automotive and other industries as well as related sectors, will be visiting Tokyo area and SAMPE exhibtion from November 16th to 20th, 2026.

The multi-year project includes further business delegation trips for German companies to Japan in 2027 as well as an buyers’ and information trip by a Japanese business delegation to Germany in April 2027. 

The centrepiece of the multi-year project are the two delegation trips to Japan. These focus on individually arranged one-on-one meetings with potential cooperation partners and business contacts on site. 

This initiative creates an ideal platform to identify concrete opportunities for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, and provides Japanes companies with a unique opportunity to connect with leading German businesses and explore high-potential partnerships.

The project is implemented by SBS Systems for Business Solutions GmbH in cooperation with Composite United (CU), ICC – Innovative Composite Center and San-Ten Consulting, under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). Participation in the events for Japanese Companies is free of charge, as the program is funded by the BMWE, however, prior registration is required.
