Meet German companies from the Textile Machinery Industry
We cordially invite you to join us for an initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
As part of a Technology Showcase, a delegation of thirteen German companies specializing in high-quality and innovative technologies, products and services within the textile machinery industry will visit Guatemala and Honduras in October 2023.
This visit aims to present German technologies within this sector and to establish new collaborations and partnerships between Central American and German companies. The German companies will bring their expertise and offerings to the Guatemalan and Honduras markets, providing opportunities for mutual growth and advancement.
The program encompasses two major Symposiums in Guatemala City and San Pedro Sula to showcase Germany’s expertise, innovations and technologies.
Companies, industry representatives, and government officials are invited to attend the symposium in Guatemala City, scheduled for Tuesday, 17th of October 2023, or the symposium in San Pedro Sula on Thursday, 19th of October 2023. This event presents an excellent opportunity to explore potential areas of cooperation and exchange valuable information and knowledge between Central American and German counterparts.

The project is carried out by SBS systems for business solutions GmbH in cooperation with the German Regional Chamber of Commerce for Central America and the Caribbean (AHK ZAKK) under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
The event is free of charge since it is funded by the German Ministry, but subject to prior registration.

In Germany

The German Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Central America and the Caribbean (AHK ZAKK) was founded in 1995 as a non-profit association based in Guatemala City. The regional chamber represents a unique association of the seven country representations from Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. This cross-border orientation as a regional representation of the German economy in Central America and the Caribbean gives AHK ZAKK a special status, as it covers a considerable market size.
The core tasks include, in cooperation with the respective country representations, the promotion of trade relations and the support of companies in a variety of matters in the field of foreign trade. A wide range of services is available, including business trips, business partner referrals, market studies, market development support, and consulting in the areas of sustainability and corporate social responsibility, which can be tailored to the individual needs of the company.
German companies with an interest in the Central American/Caribbean market can thus be advised professionally and efficiently and benefit from the many years of local expertise of the staff of AHK ZAKK and the local chambers.
