“Smart City” Innovation Tour in Singapore with German SMEs
Meet German companies from the Smart City sector
As part of a bilateral initiative under the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), a business delegation of German companies specialising in Smart City technologies will travel to Singapore for an Innovation Tour from 23 to 27 March 2026. The ‘Smart City’ Innovation Tour Singapore is a guided learning journey that connects German companies with one of the world’s most advanced urban innovation hubs, offering insights into how future-ready solutions are developed, tested and deployed at city scale.
Singapore is recognised globally for its integrated Smart City ecosystem, where government agencies, research institutions and industry work closely together. Against this backdrop, the Innovation Tour provides an opportunity for mutual exchange, allowing Singaporean companies to discover proven German solutions, explore growth opportunities, and share their own innovations to inspire collaborative projects. At the same time, participating German companies will gain first-hand insights into Singapore’s innovation landscape and identify concrete opportunities for knowledge transfer and collaboration.
The programme features a country briefing, preparation workshops, site visits to potential institutions for collaboration, as well as a Tech- and Inno- Forum and targeted B2B meetings. Participants will engage with local technology providers, public sector representatives, research institutes and startups shaping the future of urban development. These exchanges allow companies to present their technologies, understand regional demand and build partnerships that can accelerate their international growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The ‘Smart City’ Innovation Tour is funded by the BMWE within the Market Development Programme and implemented by SBS Systems for Business Solutions GmbH in cooperation with the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (SGC).
