German Business Delegation Trip to Saudi Arabia
Meet German companies from the Water Mamagement sector
Germany and Saudi Arabia are strengthening their partnership in the water and wastewater sector through a dedicated business delegation programme, taking place in Riyadh in October 2026.
The initiative, known as “LES Saudi Arabia”, is a support programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), implemented by SBS – systems for business solutions GmbH in cooperation with the Delegation of German Industry & Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen (AHK Saudi Arabia). The programme is accompanied and technically supported by German Water Partnership (GWP), Germany’s leading industry association for the water sector.
A Delegation of Leading German Companies
A selected group of 8 to 12 German companies specializing in water treatment and wastewater technologies will travel to Riyadh to present their solutions, products, and services to the Saudi market. The visit reflects Germany’s long-standing expertise in water technology and its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s water security and sustainability goals under Vision 2030.
Symposium & Business Matchmaking
At the heart of the programme is a Business Symposium in Riyadh, where participating German companies present their innovations to an audience of high-level Saudi representatives from industry, research institutions, professional associations, and public-sector organizations.
Following the presentations, dedicated matchmaking sessions offer the opportunity for direct, one-on-one meetings between German companies and interested Saudi partners — designed to identify concrete opportunities for cooperation, technology transfer, and long-term business relationships. In addition to the symposium, the delegation will visit relevant companies and facilities in the Riyadh area, providing further opportunities for exchange and site-level collaboration.

As part of the upcoming German business delegation in the water sector, GESALO is bringing together selected German companies and relevant Saudi stakeholders to exchange expertise, explore innovative solutions and identify concrete opportunities for cooperation.
The programme offers Saudi participants direct access to German expertise and technologies in areas such as water and wastewater treatment, water reuse, desalination, industrial water management, digitalization and smart water technologies.
Through the symposium, technical visits, networking and B2B meetings, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with potential German technology and business partners.
