German Business Delegation Trip to Egypt

Advancing Egypt’s textile and nonwoven industry with German textile machinery

GAB Thailand 2023 AbfallwirschaftAs part of a business trip to Egypt and under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), a delegation of 18 German companies, specializing in high-quality and innovative technologies, products and services within the textile machinery industry, will visit the cities of Cairo and Alexandria in September 2025. 

The purpose of the visit is to foster new collaborations and partnerships between Egyptian and German companies. The German delegates aim to contribute their knowledge and offerings to the Egyptian textile industry, creating opportunities for mutual growth and development – due to the motto “Advancing Egypt’s textile and nonwoven industry“. 

The program includes two major symposiums in Cairo and Alexandria, followed by networking opportunities: 

  • Cairo, Monday, September 22nd 2025
  • Alexandria, Wednesday, September 24th 2025

Additionally, we encourage you to take full advantage of this event by scheduling B2B meetings with the German companies. The meetings can be arranged during the networking sessions after the conference and round table events in Cairo and Alexandria.

The project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) within the framework of the BMWE Market Development Program. It is carried out by SBS systems for business solutions (SBS) in collaboration with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) and the VDMA Textile Machinery
