The products are known for maximum reliability, cyber security, a long service life as well as the use of innovative AI concepts. iris was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Berlin. It employs more than 240 people across five locations worldwide.

It is equipped with reliable time-of-flight technology for the determination of the number of passengers and objects in 3D and enable public transport organizations to accuracy count passengers and precisely determine passenger-kilometers traveled. This allows transport companies to document performance accurately and calculate revenue based on passenger data. Mobile Video Security \| CCTV The HYDRA brand components are mobile, multifunctional video security applications (CCTV) characterized by a high level of integration capability. They are modular, have open interfaces and can be flexibly adapted to various system architectures. Additional components and functions such as automatic passenger counting, live video transmission via cellular networks and Wi-Fi or GPS localization can be added at any time.

The IRMA sensors are deployed in over 120 transit agencies in North America, including New York MTA, Los Angeles MTA, and Atlanta MARTA.
