German Business Delegation Trip to Spain
Meet German companies from the Lightweight Technologies Industry
We cordially invite you to join us for an initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE):
As part of a bilateral business trip to Spain, a delegation of 8 selected German companies specialized in lightweight technologies and additive manufacturing, 3D printing and recyclable printing materials, hybrid manufacturing solutions and automation technologies for industrial application sectors – such as aviation, rail, defense, and medical technology – will be visiting Barcelona and San Sebastian in May 2026.
The main focus of the initiative is to initiate concrete business deals with potential Spanish business partners.
As part of the trip, a large presentation and networking event will take place in Barcelona on Thuesday, May 19th, where all participant companies will be presenting their products, technologies and services, as well as potential areas of cooperation, to a Spanish audience of experts. The presentation panels will be followed by business talks with selected local companies and other market players.
Spanish companies, industry and research representatives and government officials are invited to attend the event and to explore future areas of cooperation and exchange valuable knowledge between Spanish and German counterparts.
We also invite you to participate in individual B2B meetings with German companies taking place both in Barcelona and San Sebastian, from Tuesday, 19th to Friday, 21th May 2026. This is a great chance to explore new business opportunities and discover potential synergies and partnerships with German participants.
The project is being carried out by SBS systems for business solutions GmbH in cooperation with AHK Spain and MGA – Mobility goes Additive e.V., as well as the Composites United e.V. as a specialist partner.

In order to consistently reinforce its positioning as a key hub for German-Spanish economic relations in the target country and among its stakeholders, AHK Spain regularly organizes local expert workshops and information events on current topics, at which AHK employees analyze current needs and identify suitable speakers for the specialist topics. These events are held in collaboration with national stakeholders from politics and business.
Thanks to the diverse range of projects, workshops, and events, the employees of the AHK Spain project team are already well versed in regularly and thoroughly familiarizing themselves with new topics.
