Meet German companies from the railway industry
We are delighted to invite you to join an exclusive initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), supporting a German business delegation to Panama & Costa Rica in october 2026, comprising German companies from the railway industry with a focus on railway construction, railway engineering and rail transport.
The delegation aims to explore new market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and present german technologies to key local stakeholders.
This initiative creates an ideal platform to identify concrete opportunities for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation, and provides Costa Rican and Panamanian companies with a unique opportunity to connect with leading German businesses and explore high-potential partnerships.
The delegation program features a presentation and networking event, where German companies will showcase their expertise, innovative solutions and technological achievements in the sector. We strongly encourage you to make the most of this opportunity by arranging individual one-on-one B2B meetings with the participating German companies.
The project is implemented by SBS Systems for Business Solutions GmbH in cooperation with the German-Panamanian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAPA) & German-Costa Rican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DHK), under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). Participation in the event is free of charge, as the program is funded by the BMWE; however, prior registration is required.

It also provides market information, legal guidance, and consulting services for businesses expanding into either country. With around 150 member companies, CAPA plays an important role in strengthening German-Panamanian economic relations. Panama’s strategic location and logistics sector make it an attractive destination for German businesses.
The DHK German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Costa Rica was established in 1987 to strengthen commercial and economic ties between Germany and Costa Rica. It serves as a bridge for businesses by offering networking opportunities, market research, trade promotion, and business advisory services. The chamber supports both German and Costa Rican companies in developing partnerships and expanding into new markets. It also organizes events, training programs, and institutional cooperation initiatives. DHK Costa Rica is part of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad network and focuses on promoting sustainable economic growth and bilateral business cooperation.
