Company profile	Established in 1945 as a specialist fan supplier to the German shipbuilding industry (Navy + Merchant ships), WITT has grown over the past 75 years to become one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial high-performance fan technology and associated noise and vibration control. WITT is characterized by its customer focus, tailor-made solutions and strong engineering approach. WITT’s well proven expertise in axial and centrifugal fan manufacture has made the Company a market leader in many specialized sectors. In addition to commercial and naval shipbuilding, WITT supplies highly efficient fans for tunnel ventilation, nuclear power plants, offshore facilities, industrial processes as well as customers in the environmental sector. WITT has about 130 highly sophisticated employees. The annual revenue is about 25 Million Euro per year.
Products & Services	We offer one of the most comprehensive industrial fan ranges of any manufacturer in the world. The selection can be done for both 50 and 60 cycles for axial and centifugal fans. The Witt & Sohn fan design approach offers multiple impellers for each fan type allowing the most economical arrangement to be confidently selected. Even if applications necessitate change, a different impeller can in most cases be used without having to change the whole fan. Virtually all possible working points with a volume flow rate from 100 m3/h up to 1,000,000 m3/h and pressure increases from 100 Pa up to 50,000 Pa can be offered with direct drive and the highest efficiency. The continued exposure to applications with the highest performance requirements such as nuclear power plants, naval ships, chemical installations etc. we has enabled to gain extensive experience with all kinds of materials. Mild steel, aluminium and various speciality steels are used as standard, although more unusual materials
References and export activities	The Company is active in over 60 countries worldwide. With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Germany, UK and Switzerland, a joint venture in India, participations in a Swedish fan company as well as licensed manufacturing in Canada, in addition to a network of agents, WITT is able to supply products all over the world. About 85% of products are exported outside Germany.
