Company profile | Liebherr develops and manufactures a wide range of automation systems for industrial production.
The portfolio includes linear robots, pallet handling systems, robot-vision-systems and software solutions for control, tracking and quality assurance. These systems are designed for high availability and productivity and can be seamlessly integrated into various production and assembly processes.
In addition, based on the research project “ZIRKEL,” automated solutions for the discharging and disassembly of high-voltage batteries have been developed. The installed pilot system served as a foundation for the further development of modular and scalable systems that automate processes such as lid opening, screw removal, component separation, and safe discharging. Manual workstations and integrated safety concepts complement the systems and enable efficient and safe battery dismantling at the end of their lifecycle.
