General information

Company profile	JOCKEL has developed into a leading supplier of fire extinguishers since its foundation by Emil Jockel in 1949. Under Klaus-Gerhard Jockel, who took over the management in 1977, we diversified our offer as early as 1960 by starting a customer service and started our own production in 1983 after acquiring Taunus. Our expansion as a dealer in 1986 and the international approvals a year later underline our global commitment. With the patenting of the permanent pressure pushbutton valve in 1991, we set standards in terms of innovation. In 2005, the transformation into a company under the leadership of Frank and Holger Jockel ushered in a new era. Today, with Sebastian, Tristan and Vanessa Jockel, the fourth generation is ready to continue our legacy with passion and vision in Remscheid and beyond. Our family business looks back not only on a rich history, but also on a future full of possibilities.

We offer a comprehensive range of portable and mobile fire extinguishers, in both standard and special designs, to meet a wide range of needs. Our range is supplemented by high-quality smoke detectors, innovative extinguishing systems, extinguishing containers and pressure booster systems, which ensure maximum safety in every situation. Our range of accessories, including wall hydrants and first aid kits, guarantees comprehensive cover for emergencies. In addition, we are expanding our commitment to safety through the JOCKEL Fire Protection Academy, which provides expertise and practical skills.
