General information

Company profile	WELKER was founded in 1856 by Philip Welker and is therefore one of the most traditional suppliers for the Textile Industry. In 1941 the first generation of vacuum steaming equipment was developed and successfully introduced to the market. WELKER systems are installed world wide and are applied in all areas of heat-setting, conditioning and drying. WELKER machines are known for their quality, sturdy construction and efficiency in the field. Since the start of the business in 1856, we have been active in the textile sector with heavy duty machines for conditioning and heat-setting. WELKER is owned solely by the members of the KOCH family who took over control in early 2001. Since then, our production was modernised and significant product improvements were undertaken to keep the company as technology and quality leader in the field of conditioning and heat-setting as well as in adjacent areas. All WELKER machines are custom-designed and entirely manufactured in GERMANY.
Products & Services	WELKER is divided in three divisions: TEXTILES, PLASTICS and INDUSTRIAL CONDIBOX and CONDIBOX BLUE LINE are the most successful conditioners world wide. CONDIBOX GFY is the leading product for conditioning and drying of glass fiber yarns. CONDIBOX W is the benchmark product for conditioning and heat-setting of worsted yarns with exclusive pre-heating system type RADIAL FLOW. VAPOMAT is a compact all-in high temperature system for conditioning and heat-setting at temperatures up to 140°, where the steam generation is integrated inside the vessel. CONDIMAT is the perfect solution for conditioning of injection moulded PA parts STERIMASTER is for mushroom substrate sterilisation PHYTOMASTER is an advanced phyto sanitation system MASTERSTEAMER is for finishing of automotive interiors Every project is custom-designed and tailor-made in the WELKER production site in Neustadt / Weinstrasse, Germany.
References and export activities	With more than 2.000 plants installed all over the world and agents and service stations in all major markets we provide project sales, installation and services to all textile customers for conditioning, heat-setting, tow annealing, automotive interiors and technical textiles. WELKER installations can be found in many of the biggest spinning mills in the world as well as in specialized mills in niche markets.
Target group	spinning mills (also twisting) knitting mills weaving mills texturizing and other textile applications requiring conditioning and / or heat-setting for threads and / or fabrics non-textile applications such as injection moulding, growing of mushrooms, etc.
