General information

Company profile	INERATEC is a pioneer in the field of Power-to-Liquid applications. The company supplies sustainable fuels as well as chemical products. Modular chemical plants for power-to-X and gas-to-liquid applications use hydrogen from renewable electricity and greenhouse gases such as CO2 to produce e-kerosene, CO2-neutral gasoline, clean diesel or synthetic waxes, methanol or SNG . Founded in 2016, INERATEC has already implemented industrial-scale power-to-liquid plants at German sites to boost the availability of sustainable fuels and chemicals in various transport sectors such as aviation. In 2021, INERATEC has already commissioned the world’s largest pilot plant to date for the production of sustainable e-kerosene in Emsland, Lower Saxony, and started commissioning a second pilot plant in Hamburg in March 2022. Now the company is planning an industrial pioneer plant for the production of sustainable synthetic fuels near Frankfurt Airport in 2022.
Products & Services	INERATEC provides modular chemical plants for Power-to-X and Gas-to-Liquid applications and supplies sustainable fuels and chemicals: hydrogen from renewable electricity and greenhouse gases like CO2 are converted into e-fuels, such as e-kerosene, CO2-neutral gasoline, clean Diesel or chemicals such as synthetic waxes, methanol or synthetic natural gas (SNG). Fuels and chemicals, which are otherwise produced from fossil raw materials, can thus be sustainably produced on the basis of CO2 and renewable hydrogen. INERATEC’s patented reactor concept enables a cost-efficient, modular numbering-up and technology scale-up possible.
References and export activities	Since its foundation, INERATEC has realized more than 10 different demonstration plants across Europe. In 2020, INERATEC installed its first power-to-liquid plant in an industrial setting, at Industriepark Höchst. In 2021, INERATEC has already commissioned the world’s largest pilot plant to date for the production of sustainable e-kerosene and started commissioning a second pilot plant in Hamburg in 2022.
