Company profile | INGENERIC was founded in Aachen in 2001 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT). In 2019, the headquarters and production facility moved to an own, modern company headquarters in Baesweiler within the Aachen technology region. Around 100 employees are currently employed there.
Customers include international companies from laser and sensor technology, optical data communication and telecommunications as well as the health care and automotive industries. In addition, the high-precision microlenses are used in future markets such as industrial lidar and virtual reality.
By combining an extensive product portfolio with innovative manufacturing technology, INGENERIC has become one of the leading manufacturers of micro-optics for the semiconductor-industry worldwide in recent years.
