Company profile	„d-i davit international-hische GmbH“ is a German, mid-sized company, established in 1978. With almost 50 years of experience, we are one of the leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of davit systems and cranes for the Shipbuilding as well as Offshore Industry. Our portfolio covers standard equipment as well as highly sophisticated and tailor-made solutions. The production takes place at our factory in Germany, where a team of almost 200 employees are working hands-on to deliver the best possible products for our clients. With our own welding-, electric-, hydraulic- as well as shotblasting- and painting workshop, we take care of the whole production from start to end. Our own Customer Service Department combined with a network of over 60 worldwide service stations takes care of first-class maintenance and support throughout the extensive life span of our davits and cranes.
Products & Services	We design and manufacture davit systems and cranes for the Shipbuilding and Offshore Industry. From lifeboat systems to rescue boat and raft handling systems, we offer various types of davits for all types of sea going vessels and applications. No matter if you require a slewing type, pivot, telescopic, fixed outreach or a free-fall system, we will help you find the perfect tailor-made solution for your deck requirements. In addition to the davits, we also develop and produce cranes for handling of storage, provisions, tanker-hoses and man-ride. We offer slewing cranes (fixed or variable boom), gantry cranes, overhead cranes as well as knuckle boom cranes handling from less than 1 ton up to a maximum of 30 tons with a 26m radius. Our Customer Service team takes care of our products over the complete lifespan. More than 30 colleagues will support you with all your issues, from commissioning and spare parts to inspections and repairs.
References and export activities	We are supplying our products to all the largest and renowned shipyards worldwide. Approximately 50% of our products are exported to countries outside of Germany. As a major supplier of many cruise lines as well as navies, we are a well trusted partner for davits and cranes for the maritime industry. In 2017 we were awarded Partner of the Year by the Meyer Yard as well as STX France.
Target group	Our primary target groups include shipyards, ship owners, and ship designers. We are eager to expand our network by establishing new relationships with potential clients as well as identifying and collaborating with suitable local agents.
