These are used as high-quality packaging material and in technical applications (e.g. capacitors, battery separators, composite current collectors or displays and screens), mainly made of PP, PET, PA, but also PE and bio materials such as PHA and PLA. Future topics in technological development include new film types for a functioning circular economy, for electromobility, as well as for sustainability in film production and intelligent packaging.
Currently, more than 900 Brückner lines are in operation at all major film manufacturers in Europe, the USA, Latin America and all over Asia.
