General information

Company profile	Natürliches Bauen is a german artisan construction business from Saxony. We are a small company with a team of four employees. Torsten Selle, a master in masonry, started the business 21 years ago and has gained extensive experience in clay construction and monument preservation. Our interest in working with ecological, environmentally-friendly building materials stems from many reasons, including a strong belief in their beneficial properties. Materials like clay, lime, flax insulation and linseed oil paint are particularly well-suited for the traditional restoration of historic buildings. Natural building materials help create a healthy indoor climate and enhance overall well-being. The use of these techniques protects buildings for many years. When advising on and selecting these materials, we adapt to the wishes of our customers. They are increasingly concerned with questions of sustainability. A constant expansion of color and plasters offers a grat deal of design freedom.
Products & Services	e offer consultation advice and sales services in Germany, primarily for construction site. Our work includes building renovations, old home restorations with natural building materials. Older houses being restored or renovated benefit from historical and tradional techniques using clay in combination with linseed-oil paints from sweden’s manufacturer Ottosson and lime building materials. Not only do these techniques and materials make restoration more sustainable, they also provide great weather protection. Compliance with the German earthen building regulations is our top priority. We follow DIN standards, creation drying protocols etc. We ensure correct construction protocol through close cooperation with architects and other trades. Direct advices is usually provided on site for respective projects. Mr. Selle informs customers about the construction process and provides product information. At construction site, we mostly recommend using clay and lime.
