Company profile	Evolution Film is an independent film production company located on the outskirts of Germany’s Capital, Berlin, providing a gateway to global storytelling. We specialize in creating films that amplify marginalized voices, reveal overlooked narratives, and highlight issues that spark important conversations. Our primary focus is on feature documentaries and XR projects with the power to influence societal change. Next to our films, we also live the longing of societal change in our company culture – a team built mostly by young women with one home on different continents – from Central Europe over the Middle East to different parts of Africa, more specifically in West Africa. Through our work, we strive to make a meaningful contribution to social progress.
Products & Services	We offer comprehensive services in the development and production of feature-length documentaries and immersive XR experiences – as a production house for all services from one hand to line producing or in a single task from research to script consultancy to the production of visual marketing materials, such as trailers, posters, or pitch decks. We would love to highlight our expertise in the development of impact campaigns. Thanks to years of extensive experience in international collaboration, we are a strong yet sensitive partner for storytellers from diverse cultures, as well as in extraordinary circumstances such as crisis and war. Collaborating with a diverse network of international partners, we bring socially relevant stories to life, ensuring each project resonates with global audiences and contributes to meaningful discourse.
References and export activities	Our films have screened at global festivals and across platforms. “Among Us Women,” an Ethiopian-German documentary, has shown at 40+ festivals—including DOK Leipzig and Thessaloniki—and earned awards like Best Camera at Mumbai. CEO Sandrina Koppitz’s work spans Berlinale to Cannes. She now field-produces Wim Wenders’ XR project and produced “Eddie and I,” premiering at Venice this year.
Target group	We produce creative feature documentaries and interactive VR for a global audience. Our work speaks to socially conscious viewers drawn to human rights, cultural discovery, and stories that inspire change. We collaborate with broadcasters and streamers to reach this audience and, with NGO partner Moving Frame, aim to spark dialogue and impact through authentic, insider-driven storytelling.
Competitive advantages	We seek bold, unheard stories—especially from African filmmakers—to create powerful feature docs blending fiction’s narrative with nonfiction’s truth. Working with Evolution Film means full creative and production support. We’ve produced in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali & Togo. CEO Sandrina, with 15+ years in Ghana, now aims to build strong ties with Nigeria’s vibrant film industry.
