Under the brand VITROVEX®, Nautilus designs and produces high-performance glass housings, buoyancy modules for oceanographic and subsea applications. Our portfolio includes instrument enclosures, camera and lighting housings, fiber connectors, heat sinks, frames, mooring gear, and optical domes. Nautilus Marine Service also offers hyperbaric pressure testing up to 1,300 bar at our in-house facility.

Competitive advantages	VITROVEX® offers high-performance borosilicate glass housings for deep-sea use up to 1,200 bar. Glass is more cost-effective, transparent, corrosion-resistant, and pressure-tolerant than metal or plastic. Available in spherical, cylindrical, and capsular forms, housings can be combined with titanium or polymer parts. In-house testing and custom integration ensure maximum reliability.
