Company profile	The owner-managed company FOGTEC Fire Protection was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Cologne, Germany. FOGTEC systems are protecting thousands of fire risks worldwide in the railway sector, as well as in tunnels, buildings and different industries. FOGTEC Rail Systems is the world’s leading provider of fire detection and fire fighting systems for rolling stock applications. The FOGTEC systems are specifically designed for the railway vehicle environment and a dedicated rail team provides technical and commercial support for our customers all over the world. Effective and reliable fire protection is ensured with a wide range of technically diverse, combinable system solutions, certified up to SIL2 level. FOGTEC is a single-source service provider and can equally integrate fire protection systems in existing vehicles or supply ready-for-use full solutions as part of a turnkey project.
Products & Services	FOGTEC offers complete fire protection system solutions, certified up to SIL2 level, including smoke and heat detection systems as well as fire fighting systems with high pressure water mist, inert gas or aerosol. Areas protected on trains include diesel engines, high voltage converters, electrical cabinets, passenger compartments, WCs and drivers cabs. Over 25,000 FOGTEC systems have already been installed in all five continents in locomotives, high-speed and intercity trains, commuter trains as well as on metros and trams.
